Being a Witness in a Multicultural City by Ravi Zacharias
My thoughts about this resource:
Dr. Ravi Zacharias shares tips on being a witness for Christ in our increasingly multicultural cities with challenges like: “pluralism is a good things but relativism is not”, “avoid prejudging others”, and “get to know them, befriend them, be kind and gentle and wait for the right time to share the good news of the gospel.”

It’s interesting that our exclusive world view is so entirely inclusive:) It may exclude other world views but doesn’t count one person out! Love it!! Also, regarding timing and sharing the gospel, Ravi Zacharias noted that if someone is not receptive to the Gospel then there are factors in place that are deep such as an aversion towards Christianity or a painful childhood where they wondered where God was etc. I like the idea of finding out what it specifically is case by case and breaking that down if we can in God’s time:) That was really helpful. Thanks! Great resource ReNew:)

Witness..some thinkverbal only, with immediate results or at least we did our job. The good samaritan showed love and care for another ethnic, hurt and rejected by busy ministers before he came along. One race, many faces, to show God’s love to.
The Greek background of “Witness” is martyr. If we will not die to ourseves, taked up our crosses, and follow Him (Jesus, Yeshua, Isa, Jesu, Jesucristo, et al., we will not have any power to overcome the prejudices of culture, background, education, or family of origin.
“Living witnesses ” is what we need to be and become.
