"May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me." - Jesus, John 17:23

Recommended Resources for Studying the Book of Acts

Luke packed Acts with essential stories, lessons, and principles for sorting through multi-ethnic issues–it is one of our greatest resources for promoting ethnic unity in the church. In the winter of 2009 I enjoyed taking a seminary course on Acts by Dr. Eckhard Schnabel, a top expert on the early church and the book of Acts. This is a list of commentaries, studies, atlases, etc. that he recommended to our class. I confess that I didn’t read all of them–but, the parts of the resources I was able to read were excellent.

We plan to post many of the items in this resource on the renewpartnerships.org soon.

    Hi,
I am looking at purchasing a acts commentary. When does schnabel ZECNT Acts commentary come out? Also which do you prefer Bock or petersen on Acts. Any feedback would be helpful thanks in advance.
    Cheers
    Steve.
